Latin Grammy Award Winning Conjunto Primavara to Perform at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa
Cabazon, California (February 18, 2009) – Conjunto Primavara, the legendary chihuahuense band, will perform at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa on Friday March 20.
Conjunto Primavara, founded in 1978, has been performing for fans for three decades. Over the course of their career, the band has released over 50 albums and played at countless venues. A perennial nominee for a Latin Grammy Award, Conjunto Primavara received their first Grammy in 2006 for Best Regional Mexican Song with "Aún Sigues Siendo Mía.”
Necesito Decirte, an album released in 1998, was the Conjunto Primavara’s first album to go platinum, with some of their other albums, such as Morir de Amor, Ansia de Amar and Perdoname Mi Amor reaching gold.
The show will be held at Morongo’s Outdoor Pavilion. Tickets for the show start at $40and are now on sale at the Morongo Box Office at 1-800-252-4499 or through Ticketmaster. All major credit cards are accepted. Showtime is 8:00 p.m. PST.
